Hello darlings.
Today post is my next installment of my Christmas makeup looks, this is the look i am planning on wearing on Christmas day. Its a subtle winged eyeliner and red lip. It is classic but a little bit festive. I hope you enjoy :)
Base:
I first applied my Revlon Colour Stay in 'Buff' all over my skin, i then covered any red patches and blemishes with my Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer in 'Light', i also applied a generous amount to my under eye circles. I don't powder my whole face as i have super dry skin so i have no problem staying matte (plus its winter) i just use it to set my under eye concealer for this is used the Seventeen Miracle Matte Powder in 'Porcelain'. I normally use this is the summer when i am a little bit shiny but i felt like switching things up a little. To finish off my base i added a little bit of this No7 Skin Illumination that i got in my No7 advent calendar last year to the high points of my face as a highlighter.
Eyes and Eyebrows
I filled in my brow using the Seventeen Brow Pencil in ' Natural Brown', this is my favourite brow product of all time, it is the perfect shade of brown for me, i find lots of eyebrow pencils are too warm or too orange and makes my eyebrows look unnatural. For eyes i used my Naked 2 Palette, my favourite palette i own, i used Foxy as my base, then Suspect all over my lid darkening it up a little with Snakebite and Tease in my crease. Then applying a thin black line along my top lid using the Maybelline Liquid Liner in 'Black' an adding a little wing at the end, To finish off i used the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara in 'Black'.
Lips
To complete my look i used the Revlon Matte Balm in 'Striking' which is a gorgeous red that isn't a true red, its more orangey so its easy to wear.
Here is the test run.
I'd love to know your thoughts on this makeup look.
Do you know what makeup you're planing to wear this Christmas?
