Hello darlings
Today i have another quick fire review for you!
Recently i bought Superdrug's own brand BB Cream as i'm looking for something lighter for my skin during the summer. I saw this in Superdrug and it was on special offer so i thought why not give it a go.
I have mixed feeling on this product, its good because its vegan and not tested on animals,
which is very important to me. Its non pore-clogging and good for your skin in the
summer, which is something i'm looking for. It has quite a nice smell and
great value for money at only £6.99.
But unfortunately that’s where my praise ends. I have to admit I did not like this
product I found it to be too orange on my skin. Its very dark, it says light but it is
more like a medium, a very strong medium. It is not good for paler skin tones. Its almost looked muddy on my skin. It hasn't got the best coverage although I know BB creams aren’t suppose to. I found it didn’t last on my skin and it didn’t
provide a matte finish that I’m looking for. Its more of a tinted moisturizer that you could use under your regular foundation, but thats not what i'm looking for.
So far i'm not a big fan of BB creams as they don’t
provide the coverage I’m looking for or tend to match my skin tone. I've also tried the Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfecter in light, but again it was too dark for me. I think this is an ok product but not good for paler skin tones.
I would like to
know have you tried this product? Could you recommend any other BB creams that are good for paler skins?
I hope you found this review helpful.
JB xx
The only BB cream I've found so far to be good for light skin is the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream - it's very sheer but it blends in with my skin nicely and I have very pale skin, so maybe give that a go? xxx
