The Best of 2014: Makeup | Perfect Fixations

Hello darlings

Today i have for you my the best of 2014, i've looked back over the year and tried to pick out products i discovered and still love and use. I have to admit thinking back to the beginning of the year had been a little hard but i think i have found them all! I hope you enjoy!
I'll start with base, the main foundation i have been loving in 2014 is Bourjois Healthy Mix. This was a new discovery for me this year, before this i hadn't really tried many bourjois products. This foundation creates a perfect dewy look that has a great colour match for me, i will definitely be continuing to use it in 2015. Moving on to concealer, this one is not a new discovery for me but a staple in my collection and will continue to be for this year. The Collection Perfect Concealer, i find its really good at hiding my dark circles and makes me look awake! The powder i have been loving as have most people is the Rimmel Stay Matte, this is such a great powder for keeping my makeup in place all day, it fantastic formula and is a really fine powder so doesn't make you look cakey. One thing i have really got into this year is blusher, previously i have avoided it as i'm naturally quite pink (and get embarrassed easily) so i'm pink a lot of the time! But the one that changed this was a £1 MUA blush in 'cupcake' i find its a really pretty colour and so subtle so i don't go over board. Next up is another new purchase this year, The Body Shop Honey Bronzer, i always find bronzer tend to be too dark or too orange but i finally found the perfect one for me. Now for eye brows, The Soap and Glory Brow Archery, I only discovered this at the end of 2014 but now i can't live without it and will definitely repurchase! Its good for creating both natural and dramatic looks. I have tried many many palettes this year! But the Naked Basics Palette is my best buy. Its the best palette i own, i have pretty much worn it none stop since i got it. Great range of neutral colours for everyday use. Next up eyeliner! Maybelline Liquid Liner has been my favourite. This year i think (touch wood) i have finally mastered doing eyeliner and this product has really helped me. Its a very fine quite firm so its perfect for me small hooded eyes. Carrying on with eyes, Collection Extreme Mascara. This is the best drugstore mascara that i discovered this year, i first found it back in February and nearly forgot about it, its even better than my Max Factor 2000 Calorie!  Now lips, the fun part! The Revlon Lip Butters are my favourte lip product this year by far. I love the texture the colour selection, the quality, i highly recommend trying them. Lastly i thought i would include nail polishes, this would have to be Barry M Nail. They are a firm favourite, the best quality drug store nail polishes that are long lasting good value, good price and have a huge variety.

I hope you enjoyed this very long post! I'd love to know what makeup products you have been loving in 2014?
