The Naked 2 Palette Review | Perfect Fixations

Hello darlings
I'm sorry that there hasn't been a post for a while, but do due a heavy Uni work load i haven't had much time. But now i'm back and have for you this little gem! I had been wanting the Urban Decay Naked 2 for the longest time and my wonderful daddy bought me this for Christmas. So now i've had it enough time to use and have for you my thoughts!
I am a massive fan of Urban Decay Palettes and have gained quite a collection over the last year! I'm so happy to finally got this palette. As usual i'll start off with the packaging, the tin i'm not a big fan of. I much prefer the Naked 1 and Naked Basic palettes. But it does remind me of paint palettes i use to use in art at school! A little nostalgia there for you, haha. There is a great colour range, good mix for different looks, either staying simple or dramatic! Unlike the Naked 1 this palette is much more cool tones. I have to admit i'm more warm toned but i think having both the Naked 1 and 2 i can create a wide range of looks that suite me and my skin tone. The shadows are much more neutral that i'm finding are perfect for everyday use. I think you can get a lot more use in everyday life out of this than the Naked 1 as they are more sublte. The shadows have a good pay off, really pigmented, especially the metallics.
My Favourite shade is 'Suspect' which is beautiful subtle deep gold colour.
Overall i am so thrilled with this palette and can't wait to use it more!
At £37 is a little splurge but i totally think its worth it.

Let me know have you tried this palette or any of the other Naked palettes? What are your thoughts?

  1. I did a review of this earlier in the New Year (it was a prezzie!). I am particularly in love with tease as my crease colour; it just emphasises my eyes perfectly. I now want to go and get the Naked 3 though! The rosy gold tones are amazing looking.

    1. I love that colour too ^-^ They do, i personally don't think i'd get much use out of the Naked 3 due to my skin tone but they are pretty colours!

  2. Haha smiled at this, as I did a review of the Naked palette today too. Anyway I think this is a beautiful palette, although I'm more like you, prefer the warmer tones. I love the pigmentation in those palettes, it''s just amazing!
