e.l.f Lusclous Liquid Lipstick // Lip Of The Week # 29

Hello darlings

I'm not normally a lip gloss kinda girl, i have very long hair, so as you can imagine me and lip gloss don't mix well. But i got this e.l.f liquid lipstick, in the shade 'pink lemonade' (which is definitely a gloss) at the beginning of the year in a budget haul i did. And i forgot all about it! So i picked it out to give it another go. I do really like e.l.f i don't own many of their products, now that Superdrug stock the brand i can now pick up more. 

The Colour: Its a very pretty pink, i'm normally a nude lips kinds girl, but i do really like this pink as its not too bright or too baby pink its the nice in between. It has a little shimmer, but don't worry it doesn't make your lips look glittery, which is great in my books. (unless thats the look you're looking for, then this product isn't for you)

Texture: Its a thick gloss but not sticky which is brilliant, so good for my hair! I love the applicator, its a cute sponge, you twist the product up to the top and then pop it on. 

Longevity: Its not as long lasting as you'd expect with a liquid lipstick, but as i said its much more of a gloss. Not a huge amount of staying power. But saying that it wears away nicely so you don't have to worry what your lips look like after an hour or so. 

Overall i'm happy i have this product, its not the same as my million and one other nude matte lipsticks. I think its good for a real girly or natural look. Its also the kind of product that is brilliant for on the go. I think its good for young teenagers/girls who want to start in makeup as its budget friendly and subtle its a brilliant starting point!

Lip of the week #21: Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker

Hello darlings.

As i write this i am very sick in bed with a cup of tea, but i suddenly have the inspiration to write this blog post that i've been meaning to put up for a couple for days now. I have been quite bad at keeping up with blogging lately, my dissertation (as well as other assignments) are due in 8 weeks time, so you can imagine my stress levels! But i'm going to try and keep up blogging as my little escape and pleasure place over the next couple of months. This weeks lip of the week is this Soap and Glory Lip gloss in 'Rose and Shine' i got in my gift set i got for Christmas.  

I'm not usually a big fan of lip gloss, with the weather in England and having long hair, the two don't mix well! I received this little product in a gift set at Christmas and i thought why not give it a try and i'm pleasantly surprised. Its not too sticky which is great. The products applies lovely, i like the applicator, its soft and the perfect size. There is only a small colour pay off, so its good on its on or over the top of a lipstick or stain, just to add a little gloss and dimension.  The smell is gorgeous, i could smell it all day! 

As for the plumping part, there is a tingling sensation, which at first i didn't like but i got use to it. I don't think it plumps my lips a huge amount tho which was a shame, but nonetheless i really like this gloss.
