The Maybelline One By One Mascara Review

Hello darlings.

Its been ages since i bought a new mascara, my current favourite is the Maybelline Lash Sensational, which you will have noticed i have mentioned several times on my blog. Its my go to mascara. But i was in TKMaxx a while ago and i noticed the had several of the Maybelline One By One mascaras (i think they are being discontinued? Although its still on their website) and as they were only £3.99 i thought i'd try one out. I know this use to be a firm favourite among the beauty community a few years ago. So i thought i test out it myself!

I'll start off with the packaging, I really like it, the tube is a nice colour and shape. Its nothing like what i have in my collection. It does look a little cheap but that doesn't bother me only i will see it. I bought it in black-brown, i only have black mascaras so i thought it would be nice to try a different one, a colour for a more natural makeup day. And i have to say i really like the colour of it on my lashes, its definitively more black than brown. The wand i was really intrigued by, i don't have any other mascara that have this shape wand. It separated and gave volume to my lashes which i was really happy about, its not the best results i've ever had from a mascara. I have quite short eyelashes so its hard to make them long but i think this mascara did quite a good job. (See pictures below) The formula is nice, not too wet so it doesn't clump my lashes too much or smudge under my eyes.

Verdict: I'm really happy that i bought this mascara it does exactly what i want from a mascara and i'm really happy with the results. I don't think it will replace my Maybelline Lash Sensational as my favourite but i will continue to use this and maybe even repurchase.
