Hello darlings.
Sorry i've been so distant lately, i've been taking a little break from blogging due to lack of inspiration and energy, pregnancy is taking its tole on me physically. I didn't want to have to force myself to write blogs post when i wasn't feeling it and end up resenting it so i took a little break. I don't know if i'll be back to full time blogging but i will try my best. I really want to write more about my pregnancy.
Tonight i've had a little pampering evening to relax and unwind and thought id write a little about it.
Netflix, a cup of tea and chocolate are essential for any pampering evening! First light a seasonal candle, if you've been following my blog for a while you know winter is my favourite time of year and the candles to go with it are hard to beat! I love this Yankee Candle in Savour the Season and its goes perfectly with the Radox bubble bath i chose, in the sent pomegranate and red apple. A christmasy Winter mix. Lastly a face mask and foot scrub for my poor aching feet! Both of these are from Superdrug and their masks are always on three for two do a pretty good deal!
After my bath i covered myself in my favourite body butter, Soap and Glory Rightous butter, i'm also using it as one of the products to try and prevent stretch marks, i've got to 22 and 3/4 weeks and so far no stretch marks! I took my makeup off with the Garnier Micellar Water before getting into the bubbles and before i put on my face mask. After i put the body butter on i put on a thick layer of the Garnier Youthful Radiance Night cream, i really like this moisturiser, its thick and creamy and smells really good. Lastly a little brightening eye cream, i don't know if eye creams ever work but at least i can say i tried. I'm really enjoying the Superdrug Naturally Radiant one.
I'd love to know when was the last time you had a pampering evening?
What do you like to do to unwind?
