Lip of the week #24 Barry M Lip Liner 9

Today's lip of the week is another lip pencil, i'm obsessed with these at the moment. I find lip liners provide the perfect shape and base for my lip products. I also find them to be amazing on their own, i'd never used lip liners much before the past year but now i can't image not using one. Today's one is Barry M lip liner in 9, i think that's the shade it doesn't say anything other than the number 9 on the packaging. But nonetheless its a deep berry tone, but there are lots of shades in the range. 

I've never bought a lip product from Barry M before, the only products i've bought are a eyeliner and nail polishes. I almost forget they stock other makeup items i normally head straight for the nail polish part of the stand. Looking at the selection available to me at the Barry M stand in my local Superdrug store this shade was the one that stood out to me. Its not very summery, its a deep berry colour that is beautiful. But knowing me i'll still wear this in summer! It is creamy but also firm so you can get a good line and application. I haven't found it dries my lips out and its also quite long lasting so a win win. There is always a risk of the colour bleeding with this shade of lip product but this isn't the case with this product.

Overall i think this lip liner is great value for money, i'm super happy with my purchase. Barry M lip liners are only £2.99 and can be purchased here.

Today i have for you another nail of the day! 

This time i've gone for black from Barry M. Back in the day when i was a young teenager black would be the only colour i'd wear on my nails, that whole 'Gothic/Emo' phase that most of us went through. But i dug this one out and realised how much i loved it! I find black is so sleek and classy.

They are a little messy but thats nothing a cotton bud and my nail polish remover wont fix! :)

NOTD | Perfect Fixations

Hello darlings

Today post is another nail of the day. Recently i've been painting my nails more than usual, i think i'm using it as a distraction from my essays. I'm definitely the queen of procrastination! Anyway back to the nails! I've always wanted to try a matte nail polish so i picked up Barry M Matte last week in 'Vanilla'. Its not very season appropriate but i just loved the colour so i couldn't wait any longer to try it!  

I'd love to know have you tried any of the Barry M Matte polishes?

A Month In Nails: August

Hello darlings

Today i thought i would do a little post on the nail polishes i have been loving this month. I'm planning to make this a little series, let me know if you like this and would be interested.  

You can already see by this picture there is a theme here, Barry M. It is by far my favourite nail polish brand, most of the nail polishes i own are Barry M. I think they are fantastic quality at great value, with a wonderful shade range and textures.

The three shades i have worn this month are: 

'Shocking Pink'

I don't own many pink nail polishes, but i love this one! Its sort of a Barbie, neon pink, its lovely. I also wore this back in July as mention in my July favoruites (Link). 

Next is 'Berry Cosmo'

This is a new purchase for me and i love it. Its very Gothic, and reminds me of my younger teen punk/emo days, this is something i would have totally worn! Its a lovely deep purple.

'Red Wine'

Red Wine is by far my favourite shade, this is my second bottle i love it so much. Its the perfect red for me and goes with all my outfits i wear.

'My most worn' tag.

I saw this tag a few days ago and thought I’d give it a go! So here are all the products/items i have been loving this month. 

My most worn...

Book: (Not really worn this but I thought I’d put it in as well.) 'Elizabeth' By J.Randy Tararorrelli, such an amazing book about one of my idols, the beautiful Elizabeth Taylor. I love J.R Taraborrelli books, and have read many of his books including his book on Marilyn Monroe and Michael Jackson. I highly recommend them!

Hair product: Batiste dry shampoo. I literally rely on this stuff! Its the best dry shampoo i have ever tried.

Makeup item: The Urban Decay basics palette. I bought this last month and have used no other eye-shadows. Its perfect for everyday looks, basic, matte, natural and smoky eyes. Also they are really pigmented and stay on for a really long time.

Nail varnish: Barry M nail polish in shade 1A Red wine. My all time favourite shade, i love how its a deep red but not a bright colour. Its classic and classy. 

Here are my nails at the moment, i am wearing the red wine shade and 47 Black in Barry M. 

Perfume: Chanel No5. This is the perfume i wear daily, i've had this 100ml bottle for coming up to three years and i'm never bored of it. But i'm soon gonna run out of and must repurchase! Or if someone loves me they can buy it for me *flutters eyelashes*

Skin care: Superdrug's own brand hot cleanser. Its perfect for taking my makeup off with and leaves my skin super soft, healthy and clean.

Item of clothing: My blue stripped dress from Primark. I love the colour and the style and think it is perfect for summer.

Shoes: Black heeled boots from New Look. They are comfortable and practical. 

Jewellery:

Earrings: Square gold hoops from Primark, matches all my outfits, light weight and good value for money. 

Necklace: Audrey Hepburn watch/necklace. This was given to me as a gift from a friend. Its cute and light weight and Audrey matched all my outfits.

Ring: Gold rings from Primark. Again good value and matches all my outfits and all my nail polishes.
