Beauty Haul: Superdrug/TK-Maxx/Primark I Perfect Fixations

Hello darlings.

Its been a while since i've been shopping for makeup, i've been much more focused on clothes and my hair, but over the last few weeks i've picked up a couple of products and i thought i'd share them with you.
I hope you enjoy :)
Items pictured: Makeup:
I picked up few products i've had my eyes on for a while, which include:
Makeup Revolution Radiance Palette  i've seen so many blog post about this palette and its been on to-buy list for ages and now i finally picked it up and have to say i love it, they are so pigmented and beautiful! I saw Becca Rose talk about loving the Primark P.S Love Eyebrow Pencil, so i picked one up in 'Brown, i have to say the colour is too orange for my brows so i am a little disappointed. I then picked up this Maybelline One By One Mascara in 'Brownish Black' in TK-Maxx, i have yet to try it but i look forward to it.  In the Superdrug store in Cribbs Causeway they reduced all their 2True products down to a £1 so i picked up this 2True Matte Lipstick in 'Shade one' which is  lovely colour, it isn't too dry and it is really creamy on the lips. I love Sleek products and i originally planned to get the face form palette but they didn't have the palette in light so instead i picked up the Contour Kit in 'Light', the highlihter in this little palette is gorgeous! and not too over the top. I picked up another lipstick this time from Gosh, i haven't tried many of their products before, i got one of their Matte Lipsticks in 'Rose', which i am totally in love with and will be my mentioned in my next lip of the week i plan to try more from Gosh as i found the lipstick to be such good quality. Lastly i picked up 2 MUA Nail polishes in 'Bullet' and 'Lavender' i haven't tried many of the MUA nail polishes but i've heard good things about them and i really like theses colours, they were only £1 so i thought why not!

My last blog post was about my new minimal skincare routine, but i picked up a couple of new things as i couldn't resist! I picked up a new Exfoliator as my L'Oreal one is near the end, i got the Simple clear to skin Exfoliator, which i am hoping will help with my breakouts. I also bought the bigger size bottle of the Garnier Micellar Water as i've used up my small travel size one and i am completely in love with it. Lastly i bought the Witch Blemish Stick in hope that this will help with my breakouts especially on my chin! So keep a look out for my review!

I'd love to know have you tried any of these products?
What have you bought recently and have been loving?

Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro 2 Palette | Perfect Fixations

Hello darlings.

Today i have for you my review of this little beauty i bought a week or so back. Judging by how i introduced this post you can tell i like the product!. I knew i wanted to try one of the Lorac Pro Palettes so when Makeup Revolution released the Iconic Pro palettes, i knew i had to get one. The hard part was choosing which one, but i finally went for number 2.
So here are my thoughts on it, i hope you enjoy :)
Top Row: Mattes
Left to Right: Paper, Chase, Smooth, New-Tral, One Way, New Rules, Grey Day, Sudden
Bottom Row: Shimmers
Left to Right: Only, Silk, Awaken, New Day, Steal-er, Echo, Ambition, Faith.

When it comes to packaging i think for a budget makeup brand can be a hit and miss, but Makeup Revolution have definitely aced this. Its a matte, sleek casing with a decent sized mirror inside the lid. The palette comes with a doubled ended brush, its an alright brush, better than the usual sponge applicators that palettes tend to come with but i don't know if i'll use it. Inside the palette there are 16 shades consisting of mattes and shimmers. With a budget brand mattes are very tricky to get right, i'm so impressed with the palette as the mattes are really pigmented and not too chalky. The shimmers are very creamy and blend lovely. You can create many looks with this one palette.

Overall I'm very happy to have picked up this palette, i'm glad i went for number 2, i think these are a great selection and quality shadows for only £6.99
You can buy it here :)

I'd love to know have you tried either of the Iconic Pro Palettes?
What are your thoughts?

Lip Of The Week #11 | Rimmel Kate Moss '08' | Perfect Fixations

Hello darlings

I'm so sorry i haven't posted a lip of the week in a while, but its the same old excuse thats probably getting boring now, but Uni is so hectic. blah blah, you get the story. Anyway enough complaining this week i have made a special effort to wear a lipstick. This one is a new purchase, you can check out my haul here

I hope you enjoy :)

This is a lovely nude brown, very 90's, i almost want to say 'Kylie Jenner'. So if you're looking for that particular look, then this is great, especially if you're on a budget! Plus it smells like vanilla, which is always good in my books!

I'd love to know have you tried this lipstick? Or any of the Kate Moss ones?

E.L.F Haul | Perfect Fixations

Hello darlings

Today i have for you a little haul, this one i'm very excited about. On Tuesday i popped over to Cardiff to do a little Christmas shopping, while there i got a chance to go into the e.l.f store.
I'm going to have to admit i've never tried any e.l.f products before and i've heard they can be a little hit and miss, but i look forward to trying these!
What i bought was:
The Studio Stippling brush, i've heard so many people rave about this and i can't wait to try it! An Eyelid Primer in 'Sheer', they had quite a selection of different ones but i went for sheer then i can wear it will any eye shadow. I've been looking for a new eyelid primer for ages and this was only £1.95 so if this is good it will be a great bargain! Next up was the 'Mineral Infusion' Mascara. This was more of an impulse buy, the brush isn't what i'd usually go for but the fact its a 'mineral infusion' sold it to me and made me really want to try it. The Warm Bronzer, this is by far my favouite out of the lot, its a brilliant quad, with bronzer(s), blusher and highlighter. Each beautiful with a small sheen and no shimmer, so its perfect for me. A Blush 'Twinkle Pink' this again was a impulse buy, it far to shimmery for me, it the most beautiful pale pink, it just has too much glitter for me, but is very pigmented! Hopefully i will find some use for this, if not i like the packaging and it will look good in my makeup collection! Lastly an Eyebrow Kit in 'Medium' What can i say, I'm always in need of more brow products!

Overall i had a thoroughly pleasant experience in the Cardiff e.l.f store and look forward trying all these and hopefully buying more products!
Let me know have you tried any e.l.f products? Whats your favourite? Recommend any?
