The Red Clutch // Valentines Day

Hello darlings

How is it February already? Isaac will be two this month which is surreal, when did i become the mother of a toddler? This time is flying by. And who has snow? Isaac is loving it. This is the third day for us and its really nice, normally i don't like snow but this years its so crisp and pretty! Anyway today's post is about a little bargain handbag i picked up last week that i wanted to share with you guys.

I was looking in Monsoon for Bridesmaid dresses in Bristol when i noticed in the Accessorize part of the shop they had a really good sale on. I picked up two bags, one white diamond studded clutch (for my wedding) and a red suede clutch. They were both pretty decent prices. The white one was £35 down to £10 and the red clutch £25 down to £7! How brilliant! 

I thought this red bag would be perfect for Valentine's day. Its a beautiful shade of red and such a nice material. Plus its a decent size, not like most clutches, i can fit my purse, phone, lipstick etc in comfortably! You can wear it on the chain or tuck it inside the bag. Its perfect for date night or a night out with the girls.

The £2 sunglasses you need! // Bargain Time

Hello darlings.

Its finally spring which means the sun is out and so are the sunglasses! If you know me you know i love sunglasses, and you can never have too many. Last week i was in Primark with my friend Evie and our children and i came across the sunglasses stand. They have such a good choice this year! I spotted these classic black framed ones. They reminded me of a pair of Erika Classic Ray-Ban's i tired on in the Sunglasses Hut last year but i couldn't bare the part with cash for a designer pair. I'm so glad i waited as i bought these for £2 compared to the £110 for the Ray-Ban's. Bargain! They are comfortable and fit my face perfectly. 

Sorry about the poor picture quality, i have lost my camera so i'm using my phone.

Lipstick i'm wearing is Mac's lip liner in 'Edge to Edge' and Rimmel Kate lipstick 'O8'.

I'm definitely going to pop back to Primark and pick up some more sunglasses soon.

Spring/Summer Lookbook | Perfect Fixations

Today post is a little different to my normal ones, i decided to do a little spring/summer lookbook and instead of just taking pictures, i made a little video. I've made a few Youtube videos over the years but they have been more adventures and challenges with my friends (you can check it out here), so i decided videos i make for my blog will be put on separate Youtube channel.

Next up is Keira Knightly, Keira's style has been one i have loved for years, not only her costumes in her famous fabulous period dramas but her own unique personal style. Its so personal ans so her, i just love it.

Victoria Beckham, Victoria style is again legendary. Admittedly over the years shes had a couple of to say nicely interesting outfits, late 1990s/2000s *cough cough* i'm looking at you. But now she is sophisticated and her clothes gorgeous. Plus i just love her collections!

Marilyn Monroe was included in my last style inspiration post, she has been and always will be one of my style icons as well as my favourite actress. The thing with Marilyn's look is that it wasn't as revealing as people think, yes many of her outfits were tight fitting and often sewn on her but it worked and enhanced what she had. Most of the time she was dressed very simple, sophisticated and classy, i just love her look.

Lastly another classic and another Queen. A lady who needs no introduction, Elizabeth Taylor. Not only are her violet eyes and jewels that she is famous for but her clothes. I loved her sense in fashion and the influence she held.

There is a theme here, i do like my black, whites and neutral colours and i think my style icons reflect that.

My 20th Birthday ^-^

Hello darlings

Last Saturday, 1st November, was my birthday. This year i turned 20, yes 20! Its crazy! No more being a teenager for me. But i see this as new chapter in life, i'm getting my degree in History, i have a great job and have wonderful friends and family, life's good. So how better to celebrate my birthday with the people that i love. Last Saturday i went out with a couple of friends for a meal and drinks, and i thought i'd share these memories with you.
