The Slimfast 7 Day Challenge // Weight Loss

Hello darlings

I'm not gonna lie i don't normally buy into 'fad' diets i would say just buy and banana and go for run, it would be more sustainable and better for your purse to do that rather than joining a scheme or buy into these miracle diets.

But i saw these challenge kits on offer for £10 (the shake on it on normally is £7.29) I've tried the snack bars before and have often had them on my breaks at work (i could have chocolate and it would be under 100 cals, i mean whats not to love?) So i thought why not try it. I mean its only for one week and if i lose some weight great but if not then its only a week. What have i got to loose? i' like to be convinced that these diets work.
I've already lost 6.5kg (1st) since January by myself just by changing my diet and increasing my fitness. I still would like to lose another stone.
The kits comes with a strawberry shake, 2 chocolate meal replacement bars, 3 sour cream and chive pretzels, 4 cheddar cheese bits, 4 caramel bars and 3 chocolate bars.

You also have to drink 2 litres of water a day and do regular exercise.
I think what a lot of people think about slim fast and other diet brands is that it is some miracle product that you only eat theses shakes and bars and all your weight will come off, not true. Inside this pack you get a meal plan and voucher off your next slimfast purchase.

The meal plan is very good as it shows you still to live a healthy lifestyle, still eat healthy meals and snacks. But you incorporate slimfast snacks and shakes into that, don't just live on the bars. Which i think is pretty good.

My main worry with this is that once i stop i'll just put all the weight back on, maybe thats how they get you, so you have to keep buying their products!

I started this diet yesterday and had planned to post this last night but life got in the way.

You can buy the kit here

I will report back a week today ad let you know how i get on!

My current weight is 61kg, we shall see what it is next week! Wish me luck!

February Favourites 2015 | Perfect Fixations

Hello darlings

Today i have for you my February favourites. This time of month always comes around so quickly! There are quite a few things i have been loving this month, many things you will have already heard me rave about but a couple of new favourites too, so i hope you enjoy!
I'll off with makeup:
The Benefit Roller Lash, i got this little sample free in my issue of Elle magazine and i have not stopped using it since! I love it, i reviewed it a couple weeks back (can read here). When this runs out i will definitely go an buy it full size. Next up is a Bourjois Lip Velvet in 'Nude-ist', this is no stranger to my blog, it is definitely my favorite lip product at the moment. The staying power of these little beauties is incredible! Good for if you are on the run and have long days! I have a feeling i will buy them all! This product is a re-discovery, the L'Oreal True Match Foundation. This foundation i haven't used in a while probably about 6 months. But i decided to try it again and its very similar to the MUA Undress Your Skin (another firm favourite) in it texture, covergae and staying power. I really like it, its light coverage and good for if you are having a good skin day. My concealer of choice at the moment is the Maybelline Anti-Age Concealer. I was quite late to the craze when i bought this and i can definitely see why people love it. I don't use it on my blemishes only under my eyes. I find it last a long time and doesn't crease too badly. Last 'makeup' item is a Carmex Lip Balm. I mentioned this is my winter essential. Lip balm is a must have for me and the one i've been really enjoying is the Carmex Lip Balm in Strawberry. Its so moisturizing and smells great.
I haven't got any skincare favourites this month i have just been using the same as the past few months. But i have been loving The Body Shop Satsuma Shower Gel, it smells gorgeous and leaves the whole room smelling wonderful afterwards. (And yes my monkey is wearing a shower cap...)
Food: MaltEaster Chocolate Bunnies. These are my new obsession, i'm not even kidding when i say i eat them daily, not good for my waist line but they are so addictive!

Lastly i finally got Instagram, how i've survived this long without it i don't know, but now i have it you can check it out here. (Perfect_Fixations) I'm still getting use to it (i'm a bit of a Granny when it comes to technology) but i'd love it if you could check it out. :)

I hope you enjoyed reading my favourites for this month i'd love to know what you have been loving. Let me know down in the comments!

Vintage Fair/Clothing/Random Haul | Perfect Fixations

Hello darlings

Today i thought i'd share with you a little trip i went on last weekend. On Saturday me and my friend Sarah went to the Vintage Fair in Bristol. Unfortunately i forgot to take pictures But i did buy quite a few things, my bank account is now looking very sad. So i thought'd i'd share them with you instead. I don't usually do clothing hauls on here as i'm not the most fashionable person. My taste is baggy jumpers, leggings/skinny jeans and some chunky jewelry. Not that interesting but i really like some of things i bought so i wanted to make a post :)
So here it is!

First stop was the Vintage Fair, which was AMAZING! i picked up a gorgeous scarf and cute sunglasses. I can't wait to wear the glasses, i'm currently wearing them around the house!
After the Fair we went around the shops in Bristol,
From Superdrug i got: A new L'Oreal Colour Riche lipstick in Blush Fever, a beautiful nude pink. I also picked up a L'Oreal Dip Dye, i've been wanting to do this for ages so i finally bit the bullet, as they say, and done it, i bought one! I have yet to do it but when i do i'll be sure to but the results on here :) I also picked up two Deep Action spot and pore treatments. As i've had a couple of breakout recently.
Now for clothes.... i told you i like my jumpers! In order from left to right:
I picked up a blue jumper from Zara, which is made from a gorgeous material and nice fit. A purple sweater form H&M, i don't have anything in this colour so i had to have it! A light blue jumper from Primark, not my usual colour but i thought it would be great for Spring. A grey Jumper also from Primark, a standard grey that will go with everything as is super snugly! Lastly i also picked up this dark green jumper Primark, again not my usual colour but i like how it looks on.
I also picked up some snugly Christmas Jammies that were on sale for only £3! Also from Primark.
Another pair of cute summer jammies that were also on sale for £3! A steal from Primark. They will be perfect for when summer comes.
I picked up some more black headbands that i needed and a pack of new rings. I just love midi rings and these were so cute.
Next up was a shop i could spend hours in! Yankee Candle, i picked up a large jar of the Sweet Apple, my new favourite scent and a little Easter candle holder that i thought was so sweet.
Last up after all that shopping we went into Hotel Chocolate where i picked up these goodies! It was hard limiting myself to just these three!

I hope you enjoyed this post, its a little different to normal.
I'd love to know have you bought anything recently that you have been loving?

October Favourites 2014

Hello darlings

Today i have for you my October favourites, i know what your thinking, its Friday where is your song of the day? Don't worry i have a song chosen (a pretty awesome song!) and i'll put it up tomorrow! I just wanted to get this post up now as i feel its already overdue. This month i have been loving quite a lot of things, as usual. Its a mixture of old and new, enough with this ramble lets begin!
Let start with makeup:
Only 3 makeup products this month, 2 old favourites and 1 new one.
Firstly, a new find, i recently picked up Maybelline's Matte Maker Powder. The reason i picked this up is i was looking for a new powder as my Miracle Matte from Seventeen has nearly all gone and i wanted to try something new. Also because its part of another blog post that will be coming soon!
Max Factor 200 Calorie mascara, if you've been following me for a while you'll know this is my all time favourite mascara, i love the size of the brush, the formula and the packaging. For my more detailed review you can read my post here.
Lastly Revlon Colour Stay, my favourite foundation of all time! I love it and thinks its perfect for the Winter that is already upon us, it has great coverage, it has my perfect colour match. You can read full my review here.
Skin care:
The two products i have been enjoying are:
Tea Tree lemon Facial Wash, i love the scent of this face wash, its gorgeous! I find it really light and refreshing and is the perfect thing to wake me up in the morning.
You all know i love my baths, especially after a long hard day at work or Uni. Its my time to relax with bubbles, cup of tea, and a good book or movie. Yes i take my laptop in the bathroom.... My bubble bath of choice at the moment is Cafe de Bain indulgent Bath Creme in Sweet Vanilla madeleine. Its so yummy and smells so so good. I really want to try the whole range!
It can't be a favorites post with out mentioning face masks. This month i have been loving the Garnier's Pure Self Heating Sauna Face Masks. I love self heating mask, some people hate them and hate they way they feel on the skin, but i love them. Afterwards my skin feels so clear and soft, i love them.
Lastly, Pretzels! These are my snack of choice this month, i especially like the sour cream and chive flavour. They are filling and low calorie and so yummy! What more can you ask for?

So thats all, another month gone and only 6 weeks till Christmas! Time to start the Christmas music!
I'd love to know what have you been loving this month?
