Sorry i haven't been posting as frequently as i once was, i'm so unmotivated and tired at the moment. Isaac still isn't sleeping through the night and by the time the evening come around and hes in bed, i'm knacked an just wanna get into bed. I'm also feeling very emotional and low, is 6 months post partum to late to be post partum depression? But enough feeling sorry for myself, I think its time for a lip of the week. Today's is a e.l.f product, a matte lip crayon!
E.l.f products can be quite hit and miss, some are really pigmented and great quality and others sadly not. I guess its a production problem? But luckily i got a goody with this product. I picked this Matte Lip Color in the shade 'natural' in Superdrug about a month and a half ago. I've also heard Youtubers and Bloggers rave about the colour 'tea rose' but i swatched it in store and it was far too blue toned for me so i went for the shade natural which was perfect!
I love the packaging, its cute and slick. I always love outer packaging on products they make them look so much more expensive! You feel like you're getting more for your money. These sticks are perfect for my handbag, well lets be honest nappy bag, i rarely carry a handbag these days. I like that it has a colour indicator on the bottom and its pretty accurate. So its good to spot in your collection.
The texture is really creamy, i applies really well. The nib is perfect for lining your lips before you fill them. The formular isn't drying, its creamy on the lips but does look matte. Its long lasting and wears away really nicely. Overall i'm pretty chuffed with it!
I'd love to know have you tried any of these matte lip crayons?
Is there any other colours i should try?
