No7 Advent Calendar 2018

Hello darlings.

This is just a super quick post to show you guys what arrived yesterday! I know this sold out pretty quickly so i'm so happy i got it i ordered the day before it was released (i signed up to the mailing list). I'm currently recovering from having my wisdom teeth out so lots of bed rest and time off work for me. So having this arrive has certainly made me happier. 

I got this calendar a couple years ago (links, week 1, week 2, week 3, week 4) and i was wondering if you guys would like similar posts about what is in the calendar again this year. What i did back in 2014 is i did a week by week round up of what was i the calendar. Let me know if you guys would be interested in that kind of thing! I also have the Ghost fragrance one that i bought on clearance a couple months back (left over from last year) id love if you'd let me know if you wanted me to talk about that one too!

Are there any beauty calendars that you guys have your eye on or already bought? Let me if there are any other i should get?

My Beauty Advent Calendars 2016

Hello darlings.

You may remember a few years ago i got the Boots No7 advent calendar (link) and it was amazing getting 24 beauty products throughout the month was awesome. But sadly this year i missed it :( I got the email saying it was landing in stores on Wednesday but as it was Will's birthday i didn't get a chance to go to a store so i thought well i'll just pop in on Thursday, big mistake they had sold out in my local store and online!! 

So i was looking at other calendars and i saw the Tanya Burr i haven't tried many Tanya Burr products so i thought this would be a good way to test them out. You only get 12 days but it is a quarter of the price of the No7 one so its still a good deal. But for me only 12 day wasn't enough so i also purchased another 12 day calendar from Feel Unique so i have 24 days in total! 

Looking at the back of the Tanya Burr Calendar what you get is quite season related/party themed rather than products for your everyday look. But they still look like some good items and i am excited to try them! The Feel Unique Calendar has more of a mixture, of skincare and makeup. It has many brands that i've never tried before, for example Nuxe, Ole Henderson as well as some well loved favourites, for example, Rimmel, Bourjois and Balance Me. So i'm really pleased with my purchases.

Both calendar's are so pretty! The packaging is amazing and i can't wait to open them. I thought i'd do what i did with the No7 calendar, i will put up weekly posts about what i get in the calendars so you guys can see what is in them, and my first impressions/when i tests them out. 

I can't decide which one i should start at the beginning of the month, which one would you choose?

My No7 Advent Calendar Opening: Week 4 | Perfect Fixations

Hello darlings

Today is the 4th and final week of opening my Advent Calendar, as Christmas is now over for another year. *Inserts sad face* 

On Day 22 i got he most beautiful colour 4ml Nail Polish in the shade 'Deep Wine' this is so a colour i would wear/buy and perfect for this season! Day 23 a Brown Eyeliner Pencil, a good standard brown pencil that i can use for a more softer look. Then on Day 24 a Night Cream 25ml, i don't like the smell of this but i can't wait to give it a try as i'm really enjoying the day cream. The very last door of this calendar Day 25 was this doubled ended nail polish duo both 4ml, in the shades Cheeky Chops (the pink) and Hot To Trot (the gold). Perfect for a new Years Party, the gold is just lovely!

Overall i have thoroughly enjoyed opening this calendar this month! Its so much fun having a new beauty or makeup item each day. I think it was defineitly worth the money and i will be definitely getting another one next year! Whether it be a No7 one or another one, i think they are a brilliant idea.

My No7 Advent Calendar Opening: Week 3 | Perfect Fixations

Today i have for you the 3rd week of my No7 Advent calendar opening!

On day 15 i got a Black Eyeliner Pencil, at first when i saw this i thought it was going to be gold which would have been cool since i don't own an gold eyeliners, but alas its just a plain black one. But it shall come in handy. Then day 16 A lip Brush i never usually use a lip brush but its another useful makeup brush. Day 17 Intense Volume Mascara, i'm so glad i got another mascara as i really like the first, this one has a nice wand so i look forward to trying this! Day 18 This is by far my favourite item of the week, its beautiful shimmery pale eyeshadow. I've been really impress by the quality of the shadows i have got in this calendar and i can't wait to try some more. Day 19 A little Nail Polish 4ml in 'Disco Ball, a really pretty sliver glitter, that can be layered on a any nail polish, perfect for this season and for a party! Day 20 A small Hand Cream, its only 10ml, which is super tiny but its the prefect size to put in my handbag. Plus in the winter you never have enough hand creams! Last but not least day 21 A full size Metallic Eyes Pencil. This is such a beautiful colour! Its very pigmented and creamy and i can't wait to wear this.

Overall this week was more makeup unlike last week which was the opposite, so it been a good amount of both. So far i am really impressed by this calendar!

My No7 Advent Calendar Opening: Week 2 | Perfect Fixations

Today's post is week 2 of opening my No7 Advent Calendar. 

Most of these products i have yet to try so i'll just give a brief overview. 

I'll start off with Day 8 which was an Exfoliator, i've tried this and i quite like it, its not too rough on the skin and leaves the skin feeling nice and smooth. Next up day 9 Day, behind this door was a Day Cream, this product i have yet to try but i'll looking forward to trying it as i've been looking for a new day cream and anything to help moisturizes my face in the Winter is a big help!. Day 10 a Body Wash, this doesn't smell very nice but i haven't tried it yet so we will have to wait and see. Next day 11 Eye Makeup Remover, again, have yet to try this but its always useful to have makeup remover products in, you never know when you might need this! Day 12 Black Eyeliner Pen, i love my liquid liner, its my signature look, so i'm very happy i got one in this calendar, you can never have too many! Day 13 a Lip Crayon, i've so so happy i got another lip crayon, i love these. Last time it was a lovely nude now its a pretty red/pink. Lastly, Day a 14 Body Lotion, again doesn't smell very nice and not over joyed by it, but we shall see.
