No7 Advent Calendar 2018

Hello darlings.

This is just a super quick post to show you guys what arrived yesterday! I know this sold out pretty quickly so i'm so happy i got it i ordered the day before it was released (i signed up to the mailing list). I'm currently recovering from having my wisdom teeth out so lots of bed rest and time off work for me. So having this arrive has certainly made me happier.
I got this calendar a couple years ago (links, week 1, week 2, week 3, week 4) and i was wondering if you guys would like similar posts about what is in the calendar again this year. What i did back in 2014 is i did a week by week round up of what was i the calendar. Let me know if you guys would be interested in that kind of thing! I also have the Ghost fragrance one that i bought on clearance a couple months back (left over from last year) id love if you'd let me know if you wanted me to talk about that one too!

Are there any beauty calendars that you guys have your eye on or already bought? Let me if there are any other i should get?

Kisses

July favourites // 2018 // Higher End

Hello darlings

Today's post is my July favourite,s do people still enjoy reading monthly favourites? I know i still love reading them, do people find them a little old news now? let me know in the comments! This month i've been trying new products and have done a LOT of shopping, oops! Don't tell Will.

I'm really enjoying this hair cream i'm not usually one for using hair products i tend to wash my hair put heat protector on it an leave it. A top it up with dry shampoo during the week but that's pretty much it, i'm not very good at doing things with my hair, i'm much better at makeup. But since i had my hair cut i've been trying more products. I picked this up on clearance for about 89p, crazy! considering full price its £8.23, i think its because its in the old packaging. It gives me natural waves that last till i brush them out, its great because it means i don't have to use heat on my hair.

Nip and Fab Glycolic Cleansing Pads, £14.95. (Currently half price at £7.48)!)
I'm not if i've mentioned these pads in a favourites post before, i'm pretty sure i have as they are my holy grail. I love how these make my skin feel, they are a little more expensive than i normally pay but i heard so many great reviews on them and i'm so glad i purchased them and this is probably my fourth pot?
This is the first liquid highlighter i have purchased. I have a cream and LOTS of powder ones but not any liquid ones. These are the type you mix into your foundation or use as a stand alone highlight. Giving you more of a natural look. This Gold Euphoric is super pretty and i'm really enjoy using it on more natural makeup days. I need to try more from the collection.

Mac Prep and Prime, (full price £22.50)
I only have a sample of this which i've nearly used up so i need to pick up a full size one. I got this free when i bought one of the Mac lip kits. This is so good, i'm not usually one to remember to use a primer but this month i have to wear it everyday in this heat! This leave my skin feeling so good and an excellence base for my makeup and it keeps it n place all day!

Morphe 35 Taupe Palette, £23.00. (On offer for £14 on Beauty Bay)
Lastly my newest palette to add to my collection, it is the Morphe 35 Taupe Palette. I've only had this for just over a week but i couldn't not include it! Beauty Bay is discounting Morphe as they are opening their on site and store in England so Beauty Bay has the 'break up sale', which i took full advantage off! I've wanted this palette for a long time, it is filled with the shades that i wear daily, i think taupe and gold suit me the best. I buy so many warm palettes hoping that they will suite me but i don't think they do at least not all the time, but cool tone bronzes and browns do.

I'd love to know what are some of your July favourites? How is is August soon!?!

March Favourites 2018

Hello darlings

I've blinked and March has gone! Anyone else? But i have to admit i have very excited to turn the heating off, open the windows and get my sunglasses out! Normally Winter is my favourite season, i mean Christmas, Halloween, my birthday, Will and Isaac's birthday all happen in Winter but since living on my own this year, bills! Need i say more

Anyway back to my post, haven't done a monthly favourites for a little while. I have to admit i haven't been able to blog as much as i wanted to. Being a mum and working takes up 99% of my day, but i'm trying to find a healthy balance between Isaac, Will, house work, work, sleep and hobbies. So hopefully watch this space.
I LOVE this palette, my beautiful fiance Will bought it for me for my birthday last November and i've hit pan on one shadow and nearly on another 2, i love it so much. I use it most days its so versatile, i can create so many looks with these shadows and they are all on one palette which is so handy.  They are creamy and blend beautifully, overall a fab product.

I've only had this for about a month as it was sold out everywhere! I got it in the lightest shade, C1. Its a good colour match, if anything it might be a little too light, but that makes it perfect for brightening up under the eye. Its full coverage, good for hiding my dark circles, but if i put too much on it sinks into my fine lines around my eyes so be aware of that if you are thinking of purchasing this..

This is at the moment my holy grail brow pencil, its the perfect texture. Its firm but not too firm that so it creates a natural brow. Its a very fine tip so you can create hairs that are not there perfect for every day.

I use these pads at night after i've taken my makeup off, they are a quick and easy way to exfoliate. My feel feels so good for using them, it leaves it soft and cleansed. I much prefer a chemical exfoliator to a manual gritty one, this one is so much gentler on the skin and i enjoy using them more.

This is marketed as a anti-wrinkle cream, and although i have fine lines i'm not quite at the wrinkle stage yet. But this is the nicest face cream i've used in ages, i can't put into words how my skin feel after using this. I bought it after A Model Recommends mentioned it in a video last month. I'm so glad i bought it! It feels so silky smooth on the skin, its has a really nice creamy texture, a small amount goes a long way.

I'd love to know what are some of your Match Favourites?

My Winter Essentials 2018

Hello darlings.

How is it February already? I know everyone is saying that January dragged but i thought it went really fast! Am i the only one? Today's post is a little overdue considering its February and will be spring soon, but hey ho better late than never. It is my winter essentials, but writing it now i can show what products got me through the winter and are true survival items. I hope you enjoy!

Garnier Summer Body, Gradual Tanner. (£5.49) In the winter i'm so pale, i have to admit i'm not much of a fake tanner, i sometimes get a little tan in the summer but i never use sun beds or spray tans or fake tans. But i have loved this gradual tanner throughout this winter. It was simple and easy to use, fool proof i'd say. It gave me a natural tan without looking like i suddenly went on holiday or orange.

Zoella Hand Cream, (full size £6.95) I got this hand cream in a Christmas set last year, i don't own any Zoella products. This was the first one i tried and so far i'm really pleased with it. I put on a little before i go to bed or before i paint my nails, it leaves my hands moisturized and super soft. Plus the packaging is very sweet.
Botanics Hydrating Face Serum: (Discounted but a similar product link) My face is combination-dry and especially dry in the winter, so i need all the moisture i can get. I don't like a heavy moisturizer, i find they give me spots if its too greasy or take ages to absorb into the skin. I love this Botancis light serum, its perfect to wear under makeup or  put on before before, its absorbs quickly, and my skin feels super hydrated afterwards,

Superdrug Salted Caramel Bake Soak/Bubble Bath: (£2.29). Who doesn't love a good hot bubble bath in Winter? I know i love them, perfect to relax after a long cold day. I love this is Superdrug bubble bath in the scent salted caramel, its smells so yummy and fills the whole bathroom with its scent. There are loads of different scents in the line so i must go back and try more!

Max Factor Marilyn Monroe Lipstick: (7.99) Now finally makeup, i love a good red lip in the winter, as i think everyone does. Its just screams winter to me, and really puts me in the mood. This year i've especially loved this Max Factor Marilyn Monroe lipstick in the shade Ruby Red. It is such a beautiful colour, pigmented and very creamy, perfect for those dry lips in this weather.

Anastasia Modern Renascence Palette: (£43.00) Lastly my current holy grail palette, Will bought me this for my birthday last year in November and i've used it pretty much everyday ever since, its so good! Its got a beautiful selection of mattes, shimmers, neutrals and colors. Perfect autumnal selection of colours, with the warm browns and deep pinks.

I'd love to know what are some of your winter favourites?
