Underrated products // Collection Speedy Highlighter

Hello darlings

Sorry i've been a little absent, i've had a couple of weeks away. I popped down to Devon with my in-laws, Will and Isaac for a week and then to London with Will for a few nights. Plus many day trips and house renovating. But now i'm back to work and everything is settling back down to normal.

I had a little idea while i was away, to do a series all about what i believe are underrated products. The first product is one that is a rediscovery, its a product i've had in my collection for a while. The Collection Speedy Highlighter. I always forget i have this products as i've always used powder highlighters. So this one always get overlooked. But every now and then i reach for it and fall in love again.
The packaging is simple but effective. Its a cream stick highlighter. So it is easy to use, you put it directly on to your face. Or if prefer put a brush on the end and apply it that way. Both ways work.

The colour, Its not too pink or golden tone its a happy in the middle colour. Great on my skin tone, i would say its good for light to medium skin tone. I am pretty pale but currently with the lovely weather in England (i know i'm shocked too) i'm a little tanned. It creates a a perfect sheen, not a in your face shine. But you can build it up to that if you wish.  It doesn't have any chunky glitter  or sparkle, its a sheen.

I find it blends beautifully and looks really natural on my skin. Its great for my every day makeup. Plus i think it photographs really nicely!
You can buy it here for £3.99

I'd love to know have you tried this highlighter what are your thoughts?
Are there any products you think are underrated and need more love?

Favourite Winter Liquid Lipsticks // Drugstore

Hello darlings.

Today's post is abut my current favourite autumn/winter liquid lipsticks. These are all beautiful mauve/berry colours. And all affordable, thats right they are drugstore beauties.
I hope you enjoy!
This is the newest liquid lipstick to add to my collection. I'd really wanted this for a while as i'd heard so many people rave about them! I'll tell you one thing this stuff stays on! Even may makeup remover struggled to get it off. It certainly is a superstay product. Its quite drying, its not too bad for me but its not the most comfortable liquid lipstick i've tried. Its a lovely brown nude, the kind of shade i like to wear everyday. Nice creamy texture and dries quite quickly.

This is the most autumnal colour i have out of the three its also the only product i've tried from Lottie London. Its a beautiful berry colour, this is probably the darkest i'll go as any darker they tend to wash me out and makes my teeth look darker. This one dries quicker than the Maybelline one, its long lasting and very comfortable on the lips!

This is the rosy colour of the three. Very pretty and good for everyday and would suit people the most. Its quite sticky at first when you apply it, takes a minute to dry down. It has a nice shaped applicator, more of a rectangle the only thing is to put a lip liner on first as it quite hard with this shape applicator to get it neat around the edges of your lips. Other than that its a really great product, its long lasting and comfortable on the lips.
I'd love to know what are some of your favourite autumn/winter lips?

Kisses

E.l.f Lip Exfoliator // Review

Hello darlings.

Today's post is a little review of something new i've recently tried. A lip scrub, ok i know i'm late to the party with these! But i've never seen the point in using one before. But recently i've been really into exfoliating my body (for fake tan) and my feet (so i can have cute feet in sandals) So i thought i already defoliate my face and body so why not my lips?
I decide to try the e.l.f coconut lips scrub, they offer many different flavors they have clear, rose, mint, cherry, brown sugar but i went for the coconut as it smelt amazing! As this is my first lip scrub i don't have anything to compare it too. Its really thick and gritty which i really like, its definitely a rough scrub, its a proper scrub! So it really feels like its dong something.
How it says to use it: Use on dry clean lips, apply it like a lipstick and really work it in. Then gently wipe of with a damp cloth. Then i put a little lip balm on and apply my lip liner and lipstick on as usual.

Over all i really love this product and i can't wait to try a different flavour, i think i will buy the brown sugar one next time! I also think this will become a staple item over the Winter.

Have you tried any of the e.l.f  lip scrubs?

You can purchase them here for £4.50.
