Favourite Winter Liquid Lipsticks // Drugstore

Hello darlings.

Today's post is abut my current favourite autumn/winter liquid lipsticks. These are all beautiful mauve/berry colours. And all affordable, thats right they are drugstore beauties.
I hope you enjoy!
This is the newest liquid lipstick to add to my collection. I'd really wanted this for a while as i'd heard so many people rave about them! I'll tell you one thing this stuff stays on! Even may makeup remover struggled to get it off. It certainly is a superstay product. Its quite drying, its not too bad for me but its not the most comfortable liquid lipstick i've tried. Its a lovely brown nude, the kind of shade i like to wear everyday. Nice creamy texture and dries quite quickly.

This is the most autumnal colour i have out of the three its also the only product i've tried from Lottie London. Its a beautiful berry colour, this is probably the darkest i'll go as any darker they tend to wash me out and makes my teeth look darker. This one dries quicker than the Maybelline one, its long lasting and very comfortable on the lips!

This is the rosy colour of the three. Very pretty and good for everyday and would suit people the most. Its quite sticky at first when you apply it, takes a minute to dry down. It has a nice shaped applicator, more of a rectangle the only thing is to put a lip liner on first as it quite hard with this shape applicator to get it neat around the edges of your lips. Other than that its a really great product, its long lasting and comfortable on the lips.
I'd love to know what are some of your favourite autumn/winter lips?

Kisses

New Boots // Winter Sale

Hello darlings

Recently i've been a bit bargain mad, every since we got our new place and had a baby me and Will (my boyfriend) have been on a tight budget. I had a little nose through the Winter/end of Season sales online and i was on the USC website, i've bought many of my boots from there and have loved every pair i own. I came across these brown Miso Hiker Boots for £14! Which was a total bargain. But now they've gone back to £21 which is still better than half price.
The heels are 2.5inches, perfect for every day, They are comfortable and i love the colour, i don't own any brown boots so when i saw these i was so pleased. Overall i love them! What do you think?

Lip Of The Week #17 KIKO Luscious Cream Lipstick

Hello darlings.

Today post is my next installment of my series Lip of the Week. This week it is this KIKO lipstick that i got from my friend for my birthday :)
This is a gorgeous deep red shade (I'm unsure of the shade name i think its just 513) its not a classic red like the Clinique one i got in my Glamour Magazine (link) but much more of an Autumn/Winter red which is great for this time of year. I'll start off with the packaging, its cool, its a silver bullet that you have to push in at the bottom and hear the click then it pops out, it took me an embarrassing amount of time trying to open it! Its creamy and really pigmented. It lasts a long time on the lips and when it fades it fades to a stain colour on your lips thats really flattering. This is the first lipstick i've tried from KIKO and i have to say so far i'm really impressed, i hope to try more from the range.

I'd love to know have you tried any KIKO lipsticks?

My favourite Autumn (Fall)/Winter Nail Polishes 2015

Hello darlings.

Today post on Perfect Fixation is about my favourite autumn (fall) and winter nail polishes, i did a post similar to this last year and thought i'd make it a yearly tradition, i hope you enjoy :)
Starting off with the neutral shades, i have been currently loving NYC's 'Park Ave' and Primark's P.S. 'Caramel Kiss' they are both lovely nude/brownish/taupe shades that go with all autumnal outfits. Another P.S. shade that i believe is perfect for this season (I'm sorry it doesn't say the shade name i got this one in a set last year) it is a lovely deep purple that has a lovely sheen. Another purple this time not so deep is Barry M 'Berry Cosmo' I love this nail polish its my second bottle i've bought, i always get it out this time of year and Barry M polishes are such good quality. Next is No7 'Deep Wine' i got this nail polish in my No7 advent calendar last year, its a gorgeous shade, perfect for this season, very autumnal, its only a small size so i hope to pick up a full size bottle as will soon run out. Max Factor's 'Sheen Merlot' i have such a love hate relationship with this nail polish! I adore the colour and the way it applies and looks, it just chips so quickly! Its the only Max Factor nail polish i've tried so i don't know if they are like this. Lastly OPI 'William Tell Me About It' i mentioned this nail polish in my last autumn nails blog post, its still one of my favourites, i just love OPI nail polishes and i love finding them at TK Maxx and getting a great deal!
I'm currently wearing the P.S 'Caramel Kiss'

I'd love to know what are some of your favourite autumn/winter nail polishes?
Can you recommend any good ones that i should try?

Skincare Routine: Winter 2015 | Perfect Fixations

Hello darlings

Today i for you my updated skin care routine. These are the current products i am using during the Winter months, i tend to switch them up depending on the season as my skin does change quite drastically! I use most of these at night as i have very little time in the morning. Also i don't use all these products every day but at least a few times a week so they are my regular routine.
I hope you enjoy :)

Cleansing: First product i use is the The Body Shop Foaming Cleanser, i just love the smell so much, i'm becoming a massive fan of tee tree and i'm really enjoying this. Its a foaming cleanser, i've had never tried one before. Its not thick and creamy as i'm use to with my other cleansers but it does leave me face feeling clean and fresh. The other cleanser i've been loving is the Simple Deep Cleansing Mask, i only use this once a week as a mask which i leave on for about 6-7 minutes.

Exfoliating: The exfoliator i'm using at the moment is the one you've heard me rave about! Its the Superdrug's Tee Tree Scrub. (review) For an exfoliator its not too rough, but still enough to feel like its doing something, which i really like. It leaves you face feeling fresh and minty. To be honest it leaves the whole room smelling very minty!

Facial Wash: This is one of the two products i use in the morning. The Superdrug's Lemon Facial Wash i love the scent of this face wash, its gorgeous! I find it really light and refreshing and is the perfect thing to wake me up in the morning.

Day cream/moisturizer: Next up is moisturizer, the one i'm enjoying using is the Nivea Day Cream, this is a really thick cream that i have been using at night, (even with my dry skin its still too heavy to wear during the day. I find its really helping my dry skin, i put on a thick layer before bed and my skin feels so nice in the morning!

Eye Serum/cream: I got this little sample in my No7 advent calendar, (You check out my opening here) i've never really use eye creams before as i'm still quite young and it s never really a thing i've worried about. But as i got it in the calendar i thought i'd give this a go. So far i really like it, not too much difference in the skin but it does feel a lot softer and i figured i'm going to have this skin for life so i better start taking care of it now :)

Primer/moisturizer: The last product i use in my routine is the Nivea Express Hydration Primer in the morning as my moisturizers/primer. I find its great for keeping my makeup on and moisturizing my skin in the season. So its a great two in one product that i highly recommend.

I hope you enjoyed this post. I'd love to know what products are you using in you winter skincare routine?

My Top 6 Winter Nail Polishes | Perfect Fixations

Hello darlings.
Today i have for you my top 6 Winter nail polishes. These are a selection of polishes that i think are perfect for this season.
(Again i apologise for picture quality but the lightening this time of year....ahhhh!)
As you can probably tell there is a similar colour theme here, its mostly reds and purples just in different shades and brands. A couple of these nail polishes are ones i've had for years or a re-buys of old favourites, but they are still all ones you can buy today.  Also these colours i do tend to wear all year round as my usual go to colour for my nails will be the classic red or a variations of that shade. Hence why i have way too many.

Nail polishes shown above are:
NailsInc in 'Tate' This is my latest buy or 'freebie' i got this in Glamour magazine last month (i think it was last month...) and i just love it, its a beautiful classic wearable red.
No7 in 'Damson Dream' This is a pretty deep purple, perfect for Winter.
Barry M in 'Black' A classic black that i can wear with any outfit, looks great especially if you are wearing a white fur coat (fake of course).
Barry M in 'Red Wine' My all time favourite, i wear this most of the time especially this time of year and is my third bottle!
Max Factors in 'Sheen Merlot' I think this is such a nice colour that has a wonderful finish but it chips so quickly! But while it lasts i think its the perfect Winter colour and would be great to wear to a Christmas party.
OPI in 'William tell me about it' This, again, is one of my newest buys, this deep wearable purple is perfect for this time of year.

It was hard to narrow it down to just 6, but these ones i'm especially loving at the moment.

Let me know down in the comments what nail polishes you're loving this time of year.
