Empties // June 2019

Hello darlings

Today i'm stood in my kitchen with my cup of tea that i have microwaved three times having a few moments to my self and thought i would write a little post. Anyone else with kids are constantly microwaving their tea or coffee? There is always one in my microwaved that i have forgotten about. Anyway today's post is an empties post, do people still read these? Or am i stuck in the past? I really enjoy reading and writing these posts. Anyway here are a few things i've used up this month!
Maybelline Lash Sensational: There is always one of these mascaras in my empties, my all time favourite mascara is the Lash Sensational. I've been using it for years and i have tried others along the way but none beat it. So i will repurchase it when i run out of my back up stash!

L'Oreal True Match Foundation: Its taken me a while to use this up i do really like it but its my summer shade so i put it away at the end of last summer and have finally finished the last little bit now that the sun is back out. It has great coverage, lovely finish and lasts well in the heat. I might buy this again in the future but for now i've got a draw full of foundations i still need to use up.

Simple Kind to Skin Replenishing Moisturiser: This is a firm favourite of mine, whenever i need a good basic moisturiser i look to Simple. I think this works really nice first thing in the morning. It feels and looks amazing on my skin and it sits really well under makeup. It is a very light moisturiser but i need a thicker moisturiser at night. I will definitely be repurchasing this again.

B Hydrated Hyaluronic Acid Facial Spritz: I LOVE this facial spritz. I already have another one on the go. My skin reacts really well to Hyaluronic acid. I have been using this facial spritz for some time, i can't remember how many i have purchased.

Jimmy Choo Blossom: My fiance bought this for me for Christmas a couple of years ago when it first came out. Its such a beautiful scent, its floral but light. I would think i buying it again but there are so many other fragrances i want to try next!

Batiste Dry Shampoo: I mean what can i say who doesn't love and need dry shampoo. I have tried a million different ones but Batiste is the only one that works for me. This one is in the scent Sweetie but there are lots of really nice scents from them.  I will definitely be buying again as i can't live without dry shampoo.

I'd love to know have you tried any of these products?

Empties // February 2019

Good evening darlings,

Today's post is an old classic empties post. I don't do these very often as i take a while to empty or pan products. I'm always trying new things so i tend to have a lot of half used items and not many empties! So lets begin!

Makeup:

Maybelline Lash Sensational, this is my holy grail of mascaras, you will always see one of these in my hauls and empties. Its has the perfect wand, its rubber and curved to curl the lashes. It gives length and volume without clumping.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, everyone and their mother uses this powder and with good reason its a great matte powder. One of the best on the high street and a bargain for only £3.99, i will definitely be picking this one up again.

Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer, its taken my quite a while to use up this concealer. I've really enjoyed the colour match and coverage but its one i used every now and then so i don't think i'm going to repurchase any time soon as there are other ones i like more.
 Skincare:

Garnier Miceller Water, i really enjoy using this miceller water to take my makeup off, i do think its a little pricey when you can buy similar ones for half the price. But when its is on offer i will definitely pick one up. Its a very gentle cleanser and good for stubborn makeup!

Skin Republic Collagen Under Eye Mask, i really enjoy using under eye masks, i'm obsessed with using anything that could get rid of my dark circles and fine lines. These masks were not bad but not a miracle, so i wont be repurchasing, but i'm glad i tried them.

Hair Care:

Tony & Guy Damage Repair Shampoo, this is the only hair product this month, i bought this shampoo in Home Bargains for i think £1.99 or £2.99. I really enjoyed it, i wouldn't pay £7.19 full price but if i see it in there again i will grab a couple bottles. It made my hair feel clear, smooth and healthy looking, i'm quite a fan of Tony & Guy hair products so i do recommend them.

Perfume:

Ghost Original Fragrance, this is a perfume i've been working on for a while, its a nice light fragrance that is good for everyday. Its a really likeable scent, not too overpowering so i think most people will like it. I won't repurchase tho at least not for a while as i have so many still to use.

I'd love to know what products have you used up this month?
Have you tried any of these

Empties // September 2018

Hello darlings.

I'm not sure if people still do empties posts any more, i feel like its a dying post? But i'm gonna try and keep it alive! I'm always keeping things back with the intention of either dong a post or video on the products i've used up and whether i will repurchase or not. But i always forget and just end up cleaning things out. But this time i've kept a few! I'm mainly inspired but the pan project on Instagram. Its encouraging me to use up my products instead of just keeping them buying more.

So sit back, grab a cuppa and a biscuit as this is gonna be a long post...

Skincare:
Nip and Fab Exfoliating Pads £12.95: OMG these pads are my absolute favourite item in my skincare routine, this has to be the 4th or 5th pot i've purchased. I was skeptical about using them at first as they are quite expensive but i'm so glad i bit the bullet and tried them. They exfoliate and cleanse which is brilliant, i love 2 in 1 products

Neutrogen Hydro Boost Micellar Water £7.00: I bought this on clearance for 80p (so i bought 2) This prouct is really nice, the smell is gorgeous, like apples. It worked well at taking my makeup off and not irritating the skin. I will definitely repurchase if i can find them!

Vichy Aqualia Serum £25.00: I used this up quite a while ago now so its been sitting in my box for some time. I remember really loving this is was one of the first high end skincare items i bought. I did see a difference in my skin while i was using this so i would say it was hydrating. I'm not sure i will repurchase as its been quite a while since i used this up and i haven't rushed out to get it.

Botanic face serum (Discontinued): This was a really nice basic face serum. I really liked it, it was good for a night moisturizer that soaked in to the skin quickly. I'm not sure if i will repurchase as it wasn't special but i did enjoy using it and don't regret buying it.

Hair:
Charles Worthington Heat Defense Spray (Discontinued): This was a good heat protector, kept my hair protected while i low dried it. It didn't feel heavy or sticky. Good size for travel and on the go. I dunno f i will repurchase as i have several in my cupboard that i need to get through!

Makeup:
Seventeen Pressed Powder (Discontinued): This is my holy grail powder, but sadly the brand has been discontinued! I know i'm in tears! So i can't repurchase sadly, so if anyone could recommend any good matte setting powder please put them in the comments below!

Mac Prep and Prime Sample (Full size £22.50): I got this as a free sample when i bought a couple of lipsticks a month or so ago and i really enjoyed it! It felt so nice on my skin, kept my makeup on all day and didn't cause me to break out, perfect! I will be repurchasing it after payday.

Max Factor Brow Pencil £7.99): If you have followed me for a long time then you will know how much i love the Max Factor brow pencil, its the perfect texture and perfect colour for my brows. The nib is very fine so i can create brow hairs with it. I already have another one in my collection ready to go!

Benefit Lipstick 'Double the Lip' (Full size £17.00): I got this free in a magazine and its a really pretty everyday colour, i got the nude shade called 'nude scandal', i believe there was three to choose from. A nude, pink and a red. I did enjoy this lipstick but i'm not sure i will repurchase, i believe full size it is £17.00 and i'm not sure its worth the money.

So overall so really good products!

I'd love to know have you tried any of these products?

Products I Continue To Repurchase | Perfect Fixations

Hello darlings

Today's post was going to be my fist ever empties but when i was looking thought the bag of products i have been collecting over the last few months, i noticed there was duplicates and i thought why not do a little post on what i have continued to repurchase. There must be a reason why i have kept buying them? I thought this would be more interesting. Let me know what you think and i might make it into a little series :)
I hope you enjoy.
Simple Replenishing Moisturizer: This is one of my favourite moisturizers, its light weight, fasting drying and fragrance free. The perfect everyday moisturizer. Seventeen Miracle Matte Pressed Powder: This is quite a heavy powder, its really good for oily skins. I especially love this powder for the summer when i am super oily as during the winter my skin goes the complete opposite. Skin why can't you make your mind up?!? Collection Extreme Mascara: One of the best budget mascaras on the high street hands down. The wand is the perfect size, it gives length and volume, and its only £2.99! MUA Undress Your Skin: This foundation is light on the skin, its long lasting, and great value. Plus it travel friendly! (And they are usually on offer) Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer: This is no secret to the beauty community, it is the best concealer i have ever had, its great for pale skins, it has great coverage and long lasting. The perfect concealer. Lastly Nivea Essential Lip Care: Its the essential lip balm! Basic but wonderful, these little beauties have seen my through the winter.

One good thing is they are all pretty budget friendly, so not too expensive to keep repurchasing.
I'd love to know what items do you continue to repurchase?
